(Vol. 41, Supp. 08)
|Jan. 19, 2021:
I have added a list in numberical order of every expired Orange Book patent starting from
the dawn of Hatch-Waxman through Dec. 31, 2020 to the Orange Book ArchiveTM. The Orange Book Archive,
which already contains tables in order by by tradename and generic
name, is included at no additional cost for subscribers.
Each patent number is a link to the patent at the USPTO, and the list includes the patent's expiration date, title, the types of claims in the patent, and the names of the drugs for which the patent was listed. In addition, each drug name is a link to the full portfolio of expired patents and exclusivities for that drug.
Orange Book Patent Listing Champion:VASCEPA now stands alone with 63 patents for the 1gm strength listed in the Orange Book. That might change (a little) as the CAFC has upheld a lower court decision that invalidated six patents.

"King Love" by the Allures was recently used in an episode of Netflix's
"Master of None" starring Aziz Ansari. In Season 2, Episode 5, Ansari's
character, Dev Shah, is at a bar with a date. As he and his date are
talking, "King Love" is playing softly in the background.
